The France international missed several clear chances before being hauled off by manager Arsene Wenger on the hour mark.
Giroud had been in good form going into the game, having scored three goals in his previous two games, but vows to bounce back against Everton on Sunday.
"When you are a striker, people expect more from you," he added. "I did well recently and scored a lot of goals but, when you miss chances, it is like that - you have to question yourself.
"I will keep working hard and bounce back as soon as possible."
