A courtside collision with Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James sent the wife of PGA Tour star Jason Day to a hospital, where she was being treated for undisclosed injuries.
World number two golfer Day and his wife, Ellie, were taking in the Cavaliers' 104-100 win over the Thunder in Cleveland on Thursday when James stumbled into the first row of seats as he chased a loose ball toward the end of the fourth quarter.
James lost his footing and landed directly on top of Ellie Day, who absorbed the brunt of the four-time MVP's weight as her chair collapsed and the two fell to the floor.
Day, who gave birth to the couple's second child last month, remained on the ground for several moments as the game was halted while she was attended to by medical staff.
A brace was placed around her neck and she was taken out of a stretcher. Day was alert and talking to her husband en route to a local Cleveland hospital.
