Barcelona have confirmed that Brazilian sensation Arthur Melo will be joining their ranks at the end of the season after agreeing an option to bring the midfielder to Camp Nou from Gremio.
If Barca exercise the option, which they can in July, the transfer will cost €30million plus €9m in add-ons.

Arthur rose to prominence with a string of fine performances in the 2017 Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa Libertadores, the final of which Gremio won by overcoming Lanus.
The deal between the two clubs had originally stalled over pay and because Gremio wanted to hold onto the midfielder until January 2019.
The addition of Arthur means Barcelona now exceed their quota of three non-EU players, however, that should soon be remedied when Philippe Coutinho, who is eligible to secure Portuguese passport through his wife, secures EU citizenship. The other non-EU players on the clubs books are Yerry Mina and Paulinho.
