Gareth Bale has made a return to Real Madrid first-team training after being ruled out with a calf injury since January.
The Wales international's last fixture for the club was the 5-1 victory over Sporting Gijon, though despite making an apperance in training, doubts remain as to whether the winger will be fit to face Levante on Wednesday.
It was revealed he had sustained a torn calf muscle, and though he was able to return to individual training on January 26, head coach Zinedine Zidane was cautious not to rush the former Tottenham man back into action.
The 26-year-old had been a key figure for Rafael Benitez during his time at the Bernabeu and had started Zidane's reign in a positive manner - before sustaining his injury he had contributed 11 goals and four assists in his eight previous Liga outings for the capital side, though only two of these outings came under the Frenchman.
Bale returns at a turbulent time for Madrid, with Karim Benzema injured and Cristiano Ronaldo criticising team-mates after the loss to Atletico Madrid, before later apologising.
