One goal by Matías Suárez in the 65th minute was all that Argentina's River Plate needed to take the three points in their visit to Estadio Nacional de Lima facing Perú's Alianza Lima. 

River Plate is temporarily leading Group F in this first round of the group stage of the 2022 Copa Libertadores.
