Deportivo Cali started off the group stage of Copa Libertadores in the best way possible by beating Boca Juniors 2-0 to take the temporary lead in Group E. 

Argentine and former Boca player Guillermo Burdisso opened the score in the 70th minute, and the Colombian Jhon Vásquez sealed it at the 80th.
