The European season will feature one of its first major official matches as Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa meet in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup. The match will take place this Wednesday, August 12, at Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, Austria, where both clubs will look to begin the campaign by lifting an international trophy.

In addition, Aston Villa already knows what it takes to defeat PSG. In April 2025, it beat the French side 3-2 in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, although the Parisians ultimately advanced from the tie.
