A serious injury
Paris Saint-Germain faces a setback in the final stretch of the season. The club confirmed that Vitinha, the 26-year-old Portuguese winger, suffered an inflammation in his right heel during the match against Olympique de Lyon and will "remain under treatment in the coming days." The institution has not yet specified how long he will be out of the game, as medical evaluations will be conducted "towards the end of the week."
The injury occurred after an awkward fall onto his right foot in an aerial duel. Unable to continue, the player was substituted in the 39th minute by Warren Zaire-Emery. Vitinha initially disappeared down the tunnel and then reappeared limping toward the bench, without his boot and visibly unable to put weight on his foot.
