Live: Besiktas vs. Kocaelispor | Süper Lig
Besiktas returns to Istanbul looking to bounce back from its latest league defeat. The Black Eagles welcome Kocaelispor in a Matchday 7 Süper Lig showdown that promises plenty of excitement at Tüpraş Stadium.
Besiktas returns to Tüpraş Stadium on Sunday with one clear objective: put its latest setback behind it and return to winning ways in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The Black Eagles welcome Kocaelispor in Matchday 7 of the 2026-27 season, hoping to make home advantage count after a frustrating result in their previous league outing.
Besiktas enters the match following a 3-2 away defeat against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, a result that makes an immediate response in front of its supporters even more important.
For head coach Vincenzo Italiano, the challenge will be finding the right balance between attacking ambition and defensive stability. The Istanbul club will look to impose its rhythm, control possession, and create scoring opportunities without leaving itself overly exposed to counterattacks.
Although the season is still in its early stages, consistently collecting points remains essential for a team aiming to establish itself among the league's leading contenders.
