AC Milan Revives Interest in Brahim Díaz
AC Milan is once again looking to Real Madrid as it searches for reinforcements ahead of the new season. The Rossoneri have renewed their interest in Brahim Díaz, a player who left a lasting impression during his previous spell at San Siro, while also exploring the possibility of signing young Argentine midfielder Franco Mastantuono.
According to reports from Italy, the club is evaluating several options to strengthen both its attack and midfield, although the two potential deals present very different scenarios.
Brahim Remains a Milan Target
Brahim Díaz has long been admired by Milan.
During his previous stint with the Italian club, the Moroccan international established himself as one of the team's most creative attacking players thanks to his ability to operate between the lines, beat defenders off the dribble, and deliver in key moments.
Those performances convinced Real Madrid to bring him back, and now the Rossoneri hope to persuade the Spanish giants to negotiate his return.

Mastantuono Is Also on Milan's Radar
Another player attracting Milan's attention is Franco Mastantuono.
The young Argentine is reportedly being considered for a loan move that would allow him to gain valuable experience and regular playing time in one of Europe's top leagues.
The Rossoneri's interest comes just days after River Plate attempted to bring the midfielder back to Argentina. According to journalist César Luis Merlo, the Buenos Aires club held talks with Real Madrid and the player's representatives to explore a loan move. However, the Spanish club made it clear that it intends to retain full control of the youngster's future and would only consider a temporary move.
After making his first-team debut during preseason and receiving playing time from José Mourinho in the friendly against Alcorcón, Mastantuono impressed the coaching staff. Real Madrid's priority is now to ensure he continues developing at a competitive club while maintaining full control over his long-term future.
His absence from the squad for the preseason friendly against Fiorentina only intensified speculation about a possible departure this summer. While everything points toward Real Madrid seeking a destination where he can play consistently, the club's position remains unchanged: help one of its brightest prospects continue his development without giving up ownership of his future.
Two Very Different Situations
Although Milan is interested in both players, the likelihood of completing each deal is very different.
In Brahim Díaz's case, the biggest obstacle is that Real Madrid views him as an important part of the attacking rotation and has no intention of making his departure easy.
With Franco Mastantuono, the situation is different. A loan move could accelerate his development, provided he receives regular playing time, but the Spanish club is unwilling to lose control of one of Argentina's brightest young talents.
As the transfer window progresses, AC Milan continues to explore ways to strengthen its squad. Convincing Real Madrid to part with either player, however, will be a difficult challenge.
