A debut to forget

Brighton celebrates a historic start

On the other side, Brighton's coach, Fabian Hurzeler, celebrated a memorable debut; his team became the fourth to score four goals in the first half of a Premier League debut. "At the beginning, we struggled, but then we controlled the game. The red card was a factor, although the goals came with eleven against eleven. It was a mature performance," he noted.

Aston Villa, the reigning Europa League champion, will need to regroup quickly if they want to avoid letting this initial setback affect their campaign. Brighton, on the other hand, starts with confidence and the hope that this victory is the first step toward a promising season.
