LaLiga reports assault on Camavinga at Camp Nou

LaLiga announced this Monday that it will report to the Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) the assault suffered by French Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga at the hands of a fan at Camp Nou during the celebration of the second goal against Barcelona.

The Frenchman was struck by flagpoles after Real Madrid's 1-2 win

In the 88th minute, Mbappé scored into an empty net for the winning goal (1-2) after a great individual run by Camavinga.

Several Madrid players went to hug the French midfielder and headed toward one of the stands, where Barcelona fans threw objects and some struck Camavinga with flagpoles

Madrid players pulled Camavinga away from the stands

After the incident, the Real Madrid players moved the Frenchman away from the area closest to the stands.

LaLiga said it learned of the events through videos circulating online and decided to report them to the RFEF Disciplinary Committee.
