Juventus Is Crunching the Numbers to Bring Robert Lewandowski Into the Fold
Juventus is analyzing a move that could shake the transfer market: Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker’s Barcelona contract is nearing its end, and the Italian club is already crunching the numbers to try to bring him to Turin on a free transfer.
Juventus crunching the numbers to try to sign Lewandowski
The future of Robert Lewandowski is once again becoming one of the biggest talking points in the European transfer market. At 37 years old, the Polish striker remains one of the most respected goal scorers in world football, and his contract with Barcelona is approaching its final stretch. In this scenario, a powerful suitor has emerged: Juventus, who are already studying how to bring him to Turin.
According to reports from the Italian press, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has begun analyzing the financial feasibility of the operation. The idea is to take advantage of the possibility that the striker could arrive as a free agent next summer, significantly lowering the cost of the deal.
In Turin, there is a strong belief that signing him would have an immediate sporting impact. Even at this stage of his career, Lewandowski continues to prove that his goal-scoring instinct remains elite, something that greatly appeals to a Juventus side eager to return to the top level in Europe.
However, the dream of seeing him in black and white depends on one crucial factor: making room in both the squad and the budget.
The ambitious attacking plan Juventus is imagining
Inside the Italian club, there is a vision that—on paper—could terrify opposing defenses. Juventus dreams of building an attack where Lewandowski partners with Dušan Vlahović, one of Europe’s most promising strikers.
The plan does not stop there. The club is also aiming to bring back Randal Kolo Muani, currently on loan, to further strengthen the front line. That attacking core would also include Kenan Yıldız, one of the club’s brightest young talents.
If the plan becomes reality, Juventus could go from an inconsistent attack to one of the most dangerous offensive units in Europe.
The sales that could unlock the deal
But for the plan to work, Juventus will have to make some difficult decisions. According to various European media reports, the club needs to reduce its wage bill and generate revenue before committing to a signing like Lewandowski.
In that scenario, several players could be moved on. Among the names reportedly part of the equation are Jonathan David, Edon Zhegrova, Arkadiusz Milik, and Lois Openda. The latter represents a significant financial commitment after the obligation to buy following his loan deal.
Another player who could play a role in balancing the books is Nico González, who is currently out on loan and could be sold permanently to help stabilize the club’s finances.
In short, Juventus will likely need to sell before they can seriously pursue Lewandowski.
Lewandowski undecided as Barcelona watches closely
While Juventus analyzes every financial detail, the central figure of the story remains calm. During Poland’s national team camp, Lewandowski made it clear that he has not yet made a decision about his future.
The striker explained that he is taking his time to carefully evaluate what the next step in his career should be, leaving the door open to both staying at Barcelona or starting a new chapter elsewhere.
Meanwhile, inside the Catalan club there is also ongoing debate. Barcelona president Joan Laporta has expressed on multiple occasions his desire for the striker to remain at the club for at least one more season.
