Bellingham on pause… and almost unrecognizable

Sometimes, to heal, you need to disappear. That seems to be exactly what Jude Bellingham has done, after being spotted on the streets of London following his shoulder surgery. The Real Madrid midfielder was seen with his arm in a sling, wearing a cap, dark sunglasses and a look that made him nearly unrecognizable. A clear attempt to go unnoticed… though with that presence, it's not so easy.

The Englishman even posted a photo from the capital on Instagram, confirming his stay. While his teammates prepare for the new season, Bellingham is quietly focusing on his recovery—far from the spotlight. Because even when he's not on the pitch, everyone’s still talking about him.

Sidelined until October

The surgery was a success, but recovery will take time. Xabi Alonso won’t have him available for the start of LaLiga or the UEFA Super Cup. He’ll also miss England's World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Andorra in September. The goal is to have him back by early October, possibly in time for the friendly against Wales.

Without him, Real Madrid lose one of their most important engines, but they also gain time to bring him back at full strength. Nobody wants to rush a player who has already played 100 games for the club and won every major trophy since arriving in 2023.

A star in the shadows

At just 22, Bellingham has already won LaLiga, the Champions League, and the Super Cup, scoring 38 goals and delivering 28 assists. His impact has been immediate, his leadership unquestionable. But now, the challenge lies off the pitch: to return stronger, fully recovered, and with the same elegance he showed… even while walking incognito through the streets of London.
