Barcelona Smile Again: Hansi Flick Recovers Two Key Players for El Clásico Against Real Madrid
Good news for Barcelona: Hansi Flick recovers key players just in time for El Clásico. The Catalan attack is back to full strength.
Barcelona Strengthen Ahead of El Clásico
FC Barcelona have received a double boost ahead of El Clásico this Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu. After a solid performance against Olympiacos in the Champions League, Hansi Flick’s side not only regained confidence but also welcomed back two key attacking players: Ferran Torres and Raphinha.
Both players rejoined full training on Wednesday. Ferran, who had already been cleared medically before the Olympiacos match, didn’t feature but is expected to be available for the clash with Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Raphinha returns after nearly a month out, having suffered a muscle injury on September 25 against Oviedo. His comeback adds speed, creativity, and goal threat to Flick’s attacking arsenal at the perfect moment.
Christensen Still Doubtful
Not everything is positive news for the Blaugrana. Danish defender Andreas Christensen remains sidelined due to gastroenteritis, which already kept him out of Tuesday’s session. Although his recovery is progressing well, his presence at the Bernabéu remains uncertain.
On the other hand, three absences are confirmed: Robert Lewandowski, Dani Olmo, and Joan García will all remain out for at least another week. The medical staff and Flick’s coaching team prefer not to rush their return before they’re fully fit.
Flick Regains His Firepower
The return of Ferran and Raphinha couldn’t come at a better time. Barcelona need attacking depth and finishing power to challenge the LaLiga leaders. Both players bring unique qualities: the Spaniard adds precision and work rate, while the Brazilian offers pace and flair down the flanks.
With these reinforcements, Hansi Flick can finally shape a star-studded front line for his first El Clásico as Barça manager. The countdown is on — and the Catalans have their firepower back just in time.
