Lamine Yamal Unleashes the Fury of the Real Madrid Locker Room After Saying “They Steal and Complain”
Lamine Yamal Ignites El Clásico: His Harsh Words Against Real Madrid Cause Tension in Valdebebas
Lamine Yamal’s comments, in which the FC Barcelona player accused Real Madrid of “cheating and complaining,” have caused a major stir inside the white dressing room. According to Spanish sports daily Marca, Yamal’s words did not sit well in Valdebebas and were received with a mix of fatigue and frustration. Within the Madrid camp, they consider Yamal “a poor sport,” and believe his off-field behavior has become tiresome for the players.

Lamine Yamal’s jab at Real Madrid and Ibai Llanos during a Twitch chat with Gerard Piqué on the Kings League channel didn’t go unnoticed. “Yes, they steal, they complain, they do things I don’t even know…” said the Barça star, a remark that has set fire to the buildup ahead of El Clásico this Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu.
In Madrid’s camp, the comments are being met with confusion, especially coming just days before LaLiga’s most anticipated match. Many also point out the irony of Yamal’s accusations in light of the Negreira case, which links Barcelona to payments made to the former vice president of Spain’s Referee Committee over two decades.
Sources close to the Real Madrid locker room say Yamal’s words have served as extra motivation for a squad still stung by last season’s four losses to Barça. In Valdebebas, they believe the young winger “doesn’t respect professional codes,” and that his youth doesn’t excuse his comments.
While not entirely surprising, the academy product’s remarks have nonetheless caused unease during Friday’s training session. Real Madrid hopes to channel that frustration on the pitch this Sunday, in a match that represents not only the pride of El Clásico but also the fight for the top spot in LaLiga.
Kylian Mbappé: “There’s Nothing More Special Than El Clásico — We Want to Beat Barcelona at the Bernabéu”
Kylian Mbappé, named Real Madrid’s Mahou Five-Star Player of the Month for the second consecutive time, acknowledged that El Clásico against Barcelona is “the most special game in the world” and insisted that Los Blancos are determined to secure victory at the Santiago Bernabéu.
“It’s the game everyone wants to watch. At the club level, there’s nothing more special. You can only compare it to a big Champions League match, but in LaLiga, there’s no other game like Real Madrid vs Barcelona. It’s the match everyone wants to play, but we don’t just want to play it — we want to win,” said the French forward.
Mbappé, who is seeking his first Clásico win in a Real Madrid shirt, hopes to feel the energy of the Bernabéu crowd this Sunday as he leads the team toward a crucial victory in the race for the LaLiga title.
