Vinícius Jr. Opens up About His First Meeting With Xabi Alonso and His Desire To Win the Club World Cup With Real Madrid
The Brazilian star expressed his excitement to fight for the only title missing from Real Madrid’s collection, highlighting the importance of the first edition.
Focused on Training and Ready to Adapt
“I arrived last night (Saturday). I reunited with my teammates—it had been a while since we last saw each other. I’m really happy and ready to adapt to the time zone, the heat, the weather, everything. We’re all prepared here,” added Vinícius Jr.
The Brazilian forward also spoke about the club’s new signings, Dean Huijsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold. “I’ve spoken very little with them, but I’m happy they’re here to contribute. I hope it becomes a great time in their careers,” he said.
Finally, Vinícius shared his impressions of working under new coach Xabi Alonso, who recently took charge of Real Madrid. “We’re training hard, although today’s session was a bit lighter because of the trip. We’re already preparing for the upcoming matches. I had already spoken with the coach before. I’m really happy and now it’s time to keep working to win many things with him,” he emphasized.
