The drama has arisen from the inimitable figure of Neymar both on and off the pitch. The footballer was in inspirational form over the weekend, scoring both goals in a 2-2 draw against Chapecoense.
However, the result was another disappointing one for Santos in the Brazilian league, where the team sits 14th in the standings. Media reports said there was a post-match dressing room bust-up involving some of the club's younger players over their performances during the season.

Neymar has since taken to social media to explain that the discussion involved the entire squad, led by the team's veteran players, and insisted that the group remains united.
The Brazilian star will now be looking for another opportunity to lead by example and help ensure that Santos continues its Copa Sudamericana campaign.
