Rodrygo On His Way to London? Arsenal Prepare a €60 Million Bid
The future of Rodrygo Goes is once again heating up the transfer market. The Brazilian forward, whose situation at Real Madrid has grown increasingly uncomfortable at the start of the season, could be entering the decisive hours before a major turning point in his career. Reports in England claim that a Premier League giant is ready to make a serious move to take him away from the Santiago Bernabéu.
Arsenal See an Opportunity They Don’t Want to Miss
At just 24 years old, Rodrygo has lost significant prominence under Xabi Alonso, recording only two starts and 255 minutes in LaLiga — a worrying figure for the player, especially as he aims to arrive in top form for the 2026 World Cup.
That scenario has revived interest from several clubs that had already approached his camp months ago.
Among them is Arsenal, who — according to the Spanish outlet Fichajes — are prepared to make an initial offer of €60 million, plus an additional €20 million in easily achievable add-ons.
The operation could reach €80 million, a substantial figure for a player who has yet to fully fit into Madrid’s new project.
Despite investing heavily in the summer — signing Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke and striker Viktor Gyökeres for around £105 million — Mikel Arteta believes Rodrygo could raise the team’s competitive ceiling.
It’s not the first time Arsenal have monitored him. Manchester City and Tottenham also inquired earlier this year, though neither advanced at the time.
But Rodrygo’s urgent need for minutes ahead of the World Cup has opened a window that once seemed firmly shut.
A Trophy Cabinet Arsenal Can’t Ignore
Even with a secondary role this season, Rodrygo’s track record is elite:
68 goals in 283 matches, three LaLiga titles and two UEFA Champions League trophies with Real Madrid.
The numbers speak loudly — and in London, they know exactly what that means.
At the Bernabéu, the decision won’t be simple. Rodrygo has long been viewed as an important part of the club’s sporting project, but his lack of continuity could now push the situation in a different direction.
What is certain is that the transfer market is wide awake… and Rodrygo may well be the next major name on his way to the Premier League.
