Barcelona Prepares Spotify Camp Nou Reopening With Live Performances and a Surprise Ceremonial Kickoff
The return to the Spotify Camp Nou is no longer a promise — it’s happening. After more than two and a half years away from home, FC Barcelona is putting the final touches on what is shaping up to be a historic day. The atmosphere will be special, but the club has kept several surprises under wraps to ensure the reopening carries a unique identity… and not everything has been revealed.
A Renovated Stadium, 45,000 Fans and a Show Built for the Moment
Athletic Club will be the first visitor to experience the new phase of the stadium’s reconstruction, with a provisional capacity of 45,000 spectators.
The match is set for 16:15, but Barça wants the celebration to start much earlier: gates will open at 14:15, allowing fans to enjoy a pre-match program designed to build atmosphere from the very beginning.
DJ Mon DJ will kick things off, setting the tone for the afternoon. Then, shortly before kickoff — around 16:00 — the “main event” of the pre-game show will take over: Figa Flawas will perform live, while the Orfeó Català delivers the traditional Cant del Barça, enhanced with pyrotechnics to officially mark the club’s return to their home ground.
A Mystery Ceremonial Kickoff and More Surprises to Come
One detail has captured most of the attention: the ceremonial kickoff.
The club has described it as “special” but has refused to reveal who will take it, fueling speculation that the guest could be tied closely to the club’s recent history.
And the surprises won’t end once the match starts. During halftime, The Tyets will take the stage for another performance, and Barça insists there are still additional elements planned that will remain secret until matchday.

A Call to Fans: Shirt and Scarf Required
The club has made a clear request: fans should arrive wearing the Barcelona shirt and scarf, aiming to turn the renovated stadium into a true blaugrana wave for its reopening.
The countdown has begun: the new Spotify Camp Nou is about to reopen… and Barça wants it to be unforgettable.
