Inter Miami drew 0-0 this Friday in their friendly against the El Salvador national team at the Cuscatlán Stadium in the Salvadoran capital, in the debut of Uruguayan Luis Suárez, who started alongside Argentine Lionel Messi and played a lackluster 45 minutes.

In the first of seven friendly matches before the start of the MLS season, Inter Miami unveiled the duo of former Barcelona players Suárez-Messi. The 'Pistolero' was the star signing for Miami's franchise for the new season and reunited with Messi, who joined Inter last June, with whom he won everything at Barcelona.

Gerardo 'Tata' Martino's team has only been training for a few days and competed at a slow pace. Messi had the best chance in the first half, but he was denied by the goalkeeper, and El Salvador came closest to victory when Styven Vásquez hit the crossbar with a header in the 82nd minute.

Inter Miami started the first international tour in its history in San Salvador, which will see them cover more than 38,000 kilometers until February 15, with matches in Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Japan.

After this friendly, Martino's team will travel to Texas to face FC Dallas before flying to Saudi Arabia to take on Al Hilal and Al-Nassr, featuring Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, in Riyadh.

Later, Inter Miami will head to Hong Kong for a match against a local players' selection before facing Kobe in Tokyo.
