The beautiful country of Slovenia plays host to the first event of the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup for 2026.
THE DETAILS OF THE COMPETITION
The best whitewater canoeists are gathering in Tacen to compete in eight different competitions (four for women and four for men).
THE START OF A GREAT SEASON
Starting from Friday 29th May, the athletes will be competing for points across four different races in Slovenia, Czech Republic, Germany and France before the World Cup Final in Spain.
THE PERFECT STAGE
Located just northwest of Ljubljana, the Tacen Whitewater Course is renowned for its unpredictable currents and punishing features, regularly testing even the sport’s most experienced paddlers.

198 athletes will be taking part in arguably Canoe Slalom’s most technically demanding whitewater courses in pursuit of World Cup glory across the kayak, canoe and kayak cross events.
