ONE Friday Fights 150 Results: Attachai Makes His Mark, Rambong Grinds Out A War
ONE Friday Fights celebrated its milestone 150th edition in fitting fashion at Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium on April 10.
Attachai Kelasport emerged as a true candidate for a life-changing contract with a composed and clinical unanimous decision over Kompet Sitsarawatsuer in the main event. Meanwhile, Rambong Sor Therapat dug deep to edge Pethuahin Jitmuangnon in a war that had the crowd on its feet from start to finish.
Attachai Picks Kompet Apart
Attachai Kelasport came into ONE Friday Fights 150 with something to prove – and he proved every bit of it. The 23-year-old Thai Army Sergeant controlled the strawweight Muay Thai main event from the opening bell to the final, picking apart former two-time Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Kompet Sitsarawatsuer with surgical precision across all three rounds.
Attachai set his stall out early, finding his rhythm with well-timed lead kicks and a sharp teep that repeatedly disrupted his Thai compatriot’s forward movement. Kompet showed his class in the late stages of the first round, surging back with slick combinations.
However, the second round belonged entirely to Attachai. A left high kick sent Kompet stumbling to the ropes, and it triggered a swarming attack that left the veteran on shaky legs heading into the final frame.
Kompet never stopped competing, but the southpaw smothered him with relentless pressure in the third and never let him find his footing. All three judges agreed, giving the decision went to Attachai, who improved to 57-13 and made it back-to-back wins on the global stage.
Rambong And Pethuahin Go To War
Rambong Sor Therapat and Pethuahin Jitmuangnon gave the crowd exactly what they came for — nine minutes of flyweight Muay Thai action where neither man took a backward step. But ultimately, Rambong moved the judges, earning the majority decision nod for his 83rd career victory and 10th win in ONE Championship.
Rambong came out swinging, connecting early with a four-punch combination capped by a punishing body shot. And then, he followed up with more of the same as Pethuahin tried to establish distance with leg kicks. A laser left cross rattled Pethuahin midway through the first round and triggered a barrage of short elbows that the Jitmuangnon Gym fighter survived through sheer grit and tight defense.
Pethuahin clawed back in the second with sharp clinch work and uppercuts, and turned the third stanza into a phone booth brawl, where he landed a tight elbow that drew blood before tying Rambong up with a collar tie and knees.
But Rambong kept his composure, used his footwork to escape, tagged his opponent on the break, and remained busy until the bell. When the scores were read, the majority verdict went his way.
