Jaosuayai Called Him the Best, Now Worapon Looks to Prove It at ONE Friday Fights 153
Back-to-back first-round knockouts. Back-to-back performance bonuses. And a third consecutive finish squarely in his sights. Worapon Lukjaoporongtom has turned 2026 into his personal highlight reel, and at ONE Friday Fights 153 on May 8, the 23-year-old Sor Dechapan product steps into the main event against French debutant Tom "No Time" Casse with one clear mission — keep the streak alive and inch closer to the life-changing contract that now feels inevitable.
The Hottest Fighter at ONE Friday Fights Right Now
Worapon Lukjaoporongtom has been a problem for everyone in his path this year.
In January, he stepped in against Lethwei Gold Belt Champion Soe Lin Oo – a man that ONE Championship superstars Nabil Anane and Seksan Or Kwanmuang had both failed to knock out – and did exactly that in just 87 seconds.
Then, he followed it up with another first-round finish, stopping France's Arthur "Codjoe" Brossier inside two minutes to make it six wins in seven fights. That second knockout may have meant the most to him.

"For the fight against Arthur, I planned to feel him out first because I'd never seen him fight in ONE. I gradually looked for openings with kicks and moved in close," Worapon recalled. "Once I found the rhythm, I landed a high kick right on the spot for a knockdown, and then I just followed up to close the show with my elbows. This victory really boosted my confidence."
Casse Is No Easy Task
Now Worapon faces Brossier's compatriot – and the similarities end at the passport.
Tom "No Time" Casse is a 25-year-old out of Fas Muay Thai and Toulouse Fight Club who stands two inches taller than Worapon at 5'9", carries a 12-4 record into his ONE Championship debut, and brings a style built on quick movement, fast strikes, and relentless combinations thrown in bunches rather than single shots. He is the kind of debutant who arrives with something to prove and the heart to back it up.

Worapon has done his homework, though, and sees the gaps in his rival’s game. For instance, Casse prefers to fight from the outside and has vulnerabilities in the clinch, and the 23-year-old Thai has a plan to make him pay.
"The plan is to stay close and keep the pressure on. I'm going to provoke a fight in my style. And definitely, the goal is another knockout," Worapon said. "I want that third consecutive bonus and to keep building momentum until that ONE contract is mine."
The Best Fighter at Sor Dechapan, According to Jaosuayai
High praise does not get much higher than this. Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi – widely regarded as one of the best flyweight Muay Thai practitioners in the sport today – recently named Worapon the best fighter at their Sor Dechapan gym right now.
That is a gym that includes upcoming ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Aliff Sor Dechapan, his brother Adam, and a roster full of contracted ONE athletes. To sit at the top of that pecking order means something, and Worapon is not taking it for granted.
"Jaosuayai probably sees that I'm on a hot streak and things are moving in a good direction, so he gave me that number one spot for now. It's a huge compliment and a great morale booster coming from him," Worapon said.
"I actually study a lot of my style from Jaosuayai, [like] how he throws weapons so quickly. I'm always watching and asking him for tips to use in my own training. We have top-tier fighters in our gym who have already secured ONE contracts, so we learn a lot from each other. We help each other grow and build the reputation of Sor Dechapan together."
