Richardson worked alongside Raducanu when she won the US Open in 2021 as an 18-year-old qualifier, and did so without dropping a set.
Raducanu has been without a permanent coach since parting ways with Francis Roig after the Australian Open, and she has struggled for time on court since.
After defeat to Sorana Cirstea in the Transylvania Open final, Raducanu has played just four matches, finishing three of them, after struggling with a post-viral illness.
The British No.1 last appeared on court on 9 March (AEDT), when she lost in straight sets to Amanda Anisimova at Indian Wells.
After withdrawing from the ongoing Italian Open, Raducanu received a wildcard entry for Strasbourg, the last clay-court event before the French Open.
"[I'm] grateful to have reconnected with someone who has known me for over a decade now and looking forward to building together one iteration at a time," Raducanu said.
Raducanu, who was criticised for splitting with Richardson after her grand slam win, is set to continue working alongside the coach at Wimbledon and beyond.
