A day on from an impressive showing to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No.6 seed was again in fine form on the grass to wrap up victory in 70 minutes.
The pair was evenly matched in the early exchanges, but Osaka earned two break-point opportunities in game six, taking the second when Wang went long with a forehand.
Osaka went on to see out the opener and immediately earned the chance to break at the start of the second set, but this time Wang staved off the danger.
The Japanese did break at the next time of asking, coming into the net to hammer a double-backhand winner, only to surprisingly give up her own serve in the next game.
However, Wang would cede yet another break when a forehand went long to leave Osaka 3-2 up, and Wang double faulted on the first of two match points to gift her opponent victory.
Osaka will now face the winner of the other semi between Elena-Gabriela Ruse and Karolina Muchova.
Speaking after her victory, Osaka was asked on court what her coach Tomasz Wiktorowski would think of her performance, to which she replied: "I mean I think it's our first grass court tournament, I think he'd be pretty happy.
"I'm also pretty happy, but there's still one more match to play so we're just going to focus on that."
