Humbert keeps finals record intact with Dubai win
Ugo Humbert claimed another ATP title at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, defeating Alexander Bublik 6-4 6-3 in the final.
The Frenchman has now won all six ATP level finals he has contested and will rise to a career-high No.14 in the world rankings this week.
"I played a fantastic level during the whole week. Today was not easy," Humbert said.
"[Bublik] is not easy to play against. He had some opportunities to break me, but I was really calm and knew exactly what I had to do."
Bublik was chasing his second title of the season after claiming Montpellier in February.
Despite defeat in the final, an otherwise successful week will see the 26-year-old will debut inside the top 20 in the rankings at No.19.
