The 19-year-old forward scored three goals and provided five assists for Troyes in Ligue 2 in 2025-2026 as it earned promotion back to the top-flight as champion of the Ligue 2.
Man City signs youngster Detourbet from Troyes
Manchester City has made a signing for a future, bringing in Mathys Detourbet from fellow City Football Group club Troyes for a reported £21.6 million ($41.1 million).
Detourbet, who joined Troyes's youth set-up at the age of eight, is reportedly set to spend the 2026-2027 season on loan with Monaco.
"Troyes is particularly proud to have supported Mathys's growth both as a player and as a man," a statement from Troyes read.
"The whole club warmly thanks him for his commitment and professionalism."
