Arsenal and Napoli not discussing move for Jesus
Gabriel Jesus's agent Giovanni Branchini has pushed back on reports linking the Arsenal striker to Napoli after he was spotted at the club's training camp at the weekend.
Jesus is entering the final year of the contract he signed with Arsenal back in 2022, and it has been reported that the Gunners are looking to receive a fee for the Brazilian.
He has made 123 appearances across all competitions for Arsenal since joining from Manchester City, but has struggled with injuries throughout his time at the club.
The 29-year-old was limited to just 27 appearances in 2025-2026, scoring six goals and providing one assist as Arsenal ended its wait to lift the Premier League.
Jesus's injury problems have seen him drop down the pecking order at Arsenal, with Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres seen as Arsenal's preferred options in the striker position.
Napoli, Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Everton have all been credited with interest in Jesus, but Branchini revealed there has been no contact about a move with the Serie A side.
"Allegri and I have been in touch, I came here today to come and visit him," Branchini said.
"He's working hard and he's happy with everything. He's always had a good opinion of this team and is satisfied with the work that is being done."
When asked about Jesus specifically, Branchini added: "I have not spoken to Allegri about him."
Should Jesus depart, he would be the fifth player to exit Arsenal, following Trossard, Jakub Kiwior, Karl Hein and Christian Norgaard out of the exit door.
Napoli is also keen to bolster its frontline, with reports suggesting that both Romelu Lukaku and Lorenzo Lucca could leave the club this summer.
It has already completed the signing of Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund after a productive loan spell in 2025-2026, but new coach Massimiliano Allegri is hopeful of adding more attacking quality to his team ahead of his first season in charge.
