Olmo says Barca 'not worried' about Madrid spree
Dani Olmo insists Barcelona "are not worried" about Real Madrid's transfer activity this summer.
Barca won its second consecutive LaLiga title under Flick last season, finishing eight points ahead of its Clasico rival.
La Blaugrana sealed the title with a 2-0 win over Madrid at Camp Nou in May, with Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres getting on the scoresheet.
However, Los Blancos have responded strongly during the off-season, replacing Alvaro Arbeloa with Jose Mourinho, while also making three key additions to their squad.
Marc Cucurella signed for a reported €60m (£51.8m) from Chelsea, before Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate also completed their moves to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu as free agents this week.
Madrid has also seen a €150m bid rejected for Atletico Madrid talisman Julian Alvarez, who has also been linked with a move to Barca.
However, Barca hase added England international Anthony Gordon to its squad, and Olmo believes there is no reason to worry about its rival.
"It’s normal that after two years without a win they are reinforced, they are world-class players, but we are not worried," Olmo said.
"We have made a great signing with Gordon and we are happy."
Both Olmo and Cucurella are with the Spain squad at the World Cup, with the latter's move to Madrid announced ahead of their opener.
Olmo revealed the left-back did not tell them about his transfer, but wished him well ahead of their new domestic rivalry.
"We didn’t expect it. He kept it inside," Olmo said. "If that’s what he wanted, I’m happy for him because he’s my friend. Now he’s going to have to suffer in the league and so will we.
"He’s going to have to suffer against Lamine [Yamal], for example!"
