Berdych to face Sock in Stockholm showdown
Defending champion Tomas Berdych takes on Jack Sock in the final of the Stockholm Open, the American also featuring in the doubles final.
Top seed Tomas Berdych will aim to secure a third Stockholm Open title in four years when he faces Jack Sock in the final on Sunday.
Berdych claimed his first title of 2015 in the Shenzhen Open recently and the world number five will be the favourite to follow that up with another victory in the Swedish capital.
Two-time Stockholm Open winner Berdych, who won the title last year after also being crowned champion in 2012, claimed the first set of his semi-final 6-1 and Marcos Baghdatis was then forced to retire.
Berdych dominated the first set, not facing a solitary break point and winning two games on the Baghdatis serve before the semi-final was cut short.
Czech Berdych beat Sock in the Shanghai Masters last week and knows the American will be eager to respond in Sunday's showdown.
"It was a tough battle [in Shanghai] and I'm expecting revenge from him. I just have to be ready. I'm strong and feeling good, so I'm looking forward to the final." he said.
Sock saw off second seed Richard Gasquet 6-4 6-2 to reach the final and will also feature in the doubles final.
The seventh seed fired down 11 aces and took half of his break point opportunities to see off classy Frenchman Gasquet in an hour and 22 minutes.
He will also partner Nicholas Monroe in the doubles final against Mate Pavic and Michael Venus.
