Berdych comes through Bautista Agut test

Tomas Berdych survived a good test from Roberto Bautista Agut at the BNP Paribas Classic as he continues his preparations for Wimbledon.
World number six Berdych, who reached the Wimbledon final in 2010, took the first set at the Hurlingham Club but Bautista Agut levelled matters before the Czech came through in a champions tie-break, prevailing 6-3 5-7 10-8.
US Open champion Marin Cilic did suffer a surprise defeat on Thursday, however, as he was beaten by Nicolas Almagro.
Cilic was knocked out in the second round of the Aegon Championships last week and the world number nine disappointed at the grass-court exhibition event, with Almagro winning 4-6 7-6 13-11.
