Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and head coach Thomas Tuchel are to go their separate ways at the end of the current season. In a brief statement online, Tuchel and Bayern confirmed the news adding that Tuchel will still be in charge of the team till the end of the season.

"We have agreed that we will end our working relationship at the end of this season. Until then, I will of course continue to do everything I can with my coaching staff to achieve maximum success." 

FC Bayern are currently eight points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen and have lost their last three games in all competitions. Tuchel succeeded Julian Nagelsmann in the FC Bayern hot seat in March 2023 and led the Bavarian giants to an 11th straight Bundesliga crown just two months later.
