Heat's Green fined $25,000 for 'menacing gestures'
Gerald Green was handed down a hefty fine by the NBA for inappropriate gestures during the pre-season.
Miami Heat guard Gerald Green was fined $25,000 for making "menacing gestures", the NBA announced on Friday.
The gestures came with around five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of the Heat's 110-105 pre-season win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
The release did not specify what the gestures were.
This is not the first time a player has been fined for celebrating inappropriately.
Brandon Jennings was fined $15,000 last season for an "obscene gesture" and Dwyane Wade has previously been fined the same amount.
