Bolt secures 400m victory in Kingston
Sprint king Usain Bolt was back on the track for his first individual race of the year on Saturday and won the 400 metres in Kingston.
Usain Bolt marked his first individual race of the season by securing victory in a rare 400 metres run at the GC Foster Classic in Kingston.
The world-record holder over 100m and 200m last month said he felt like a forgotten man during an injury-plagued 2014.
Bolt took the final four months of last year off to regain full fitness, but returned to competition in his homeland over a full circuit on Saturday and clocked 46.37 seconds to secure victory.
He tweeted after the race: "Give thanks for a injury free 400m run #46.37."
The legendary Jamaican sprinter is set to defend his sprint titles at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing in August.
