Dusautoir returns to face Scotland
France captain Thierry Dusautoir is part of a strong France side that will face Scotland in a World Cup warm-up match in Paris.
France captain Thierry Dusautoir has recovered from a knee injury in time to face Scotland at the Stade de France.
Dusautoir returns from a two-game lay-off to replace Bernard Le Roux at flanker, while Yoann Maestri makes way for Alexandre Flanquart in the second row.
There are no other changes made to the side that beat England 25-20 in Paris on August 22, as France coach Philippe Saint-Andre keeps faith in Sebastien Tillous-Borde and Frederic Michalak, who were both instrumental in that victory.
Saint-Andre is confident that Dusautoir has made a full recovery ahead of France's final warm-up game before they depart for the Rugby World Cup in England and Wales.
The coach said: "It is the right time; he is in good shape.
"It is important for him and the team that the captain plays. It is just under three weeks from the start of the World Cup and he had demonstrated in training that he is in good shape physically and mentally - he wants to prove that on the field."
He added: "We have gone for continuity after our last performance against England.
"We chose to keep the backbone of the team - hooker, No.8, scrum-half, fly-half and-full back - intact so that it can continue to prepare well and build-up confidence."
Scotland head coach Vern Cotter has opted to give Sean Maitland and Tommy Seymour their first action of the summer warm-up games after the pair returned from injury, and there are three other changes to the side that beat Italy 48-7 at Murrayfield.
Cotter has handed a second cap to back-row John Hardie, who is currently without a club, and there are starts for prop Willem Nel and centre Matt Scott as Scotland head into a potentially difficult game.
"France are a very powerful and skilful side so this match will provide another good assessment for this group, and another valuable insight into where we are at as a squad," said Cotter.
