Jovic followed up her victory over fellow young star Alexandra Eala with a superb performance against No.2 seed Anisimova.
The 18-year-old rallied from losing the second set to prevail 6-2 3-6 6-3.
Jovic set the tone with a break of serve in the first game.
She then fended off a response from Anisimova before forcing the two-time grand slam finalist to claw back four break points on her next serve.
Jovic took the opening set after a second, decisive break, but Anisimova hit back with successive breaks to level the scores.
A topsy-turvy start to the decider saw Jovic claim two breaks to Anisimova's one.
Although Anisimova rallied once more, Jovic immediately broke again before serving out the victory to love.
This marked Jovic's first triumph over an opponent ranked in the world's top five.
She is now just one win away from a third WTA Tour-level final of her career, while she has previously triumphed in England, having won a WTA 125 event in Ilkley in 2025.
