McTominay returns to Scotland squad for Nations League
Scott McTominay has returned to the Scotland squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures this month.
The Napoli midfielder missed out on Sebastien Pocognoli's first squad after undergoing minor heart surgery, but is set to return on the international stage.
McTominay last featured for Scotland at the World Cup, where it was knocked out in the group stage after defeats to Morocco and Brazil.
Celtic defender Kieran Tierney and Torino striker Che Adams are also back in the squad after they missed out during the last break with injuries.
James Penrice has earned his first call-up, while Lennon Miller, Josh Doig and James Wilson have been dropped from the squad.
Scotland is third in the Nations League group, with Pocognoli winning just one of his first four games in charge.
Its win came away to North Macedonia, while it lost at home to both Switzerland and Slovenia, also drawing the reverse fixture against the latter.
Scotland hosts North Macedonia on 13 November before closing out its Nations League group campaign away to Switzerland three days later.
