Besiktas agrees to sign Arsenal title-winner Trossard
Premier League champion Arsenal confirmed an agreement has been reached for Leandro Trossard to join Besiktas.
Trossard has been granted permission to travel to Istanbul to undergo a medical, with the Belgian expected to arrive in Turkiye later on Wednesday.
It is believed the deal is worth around £17m, broken up into an initial £15.3m plus £1.7m in add-ons, which ends Trossard's three-year stay in North London.
Trossard played a key role in Arsenal's Premier League title triumph in 2025-2026, with six goals and six assists in 31 league appearances.
"We can confirm that we have reached an agreement with Besiktas for the permanent transfer of Leandro Trossard," an Arsenal statement read.
"With a transfer fee agreed, Leo has been granted permission to travel to Istanbul to undergo a medical and complete the formalities of his move to the Turkish Super Lig club.
"We will provide a further update once the transfer has been completed."
Trossard is Besiktas's seventh signing of the summer as it looks to rebuild its squad after a fourth-place finish in the Super Lig last season.
The Belgium international's departure also frees up space for Arsenal to make additions, with the left-side of the attack a priority in the transfer window.
It has been reported that Gabriel Martinelli, who has one year left on his contract, has also been made available for transfer this summer, with Arsenal reportedly weighing up a move for Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers and Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain.
Rogers is said to be valued by Villa at around £130m, which could eclipse the British transfer record fee Liverpool paid for Alexander Isak 12 months ago.
The 23 year-old is currently on international duty with England at the World Cup and is fresh from leading Unai Emery's side to Europa League glory.
