Fenerbahce denies claims of €100m offer for Leao
Fenerbahce has released a statement denying claims of a €100 million ($162.9 million) offer for AC Milan's Rafael Leao.
Leao's future with the Rossoneri is in doubt after he revealed he has held talks with the club about a potential exit this transfer window.
Turkish sides Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have been heavily linked with the Portugal international, while Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur is also said to be interested in a deal.
Reports emerged suggesting Fenerbahce made its offer, including salary, for the 27-year-old, but the Super Lig outfit set the record straight this weekend.
"Claims that we made an offer of approximately 100 million Euros for Rafael Leao, including transfer fee and salary, are untrue," a club statement read.
"No such offer has been made to the player or his club.
"Our sole focus is on our return match against Gornik Zabrze in the UEFA Champions League Second Qualifying Round and advancing to the next round."
Leao joined Milan from Lille in 2019 and has gone on to make 291 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring 80 goals and providing 55 assists.
Leao featured in all five of Portugal's games at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring one goal and recording one assist before its Round of 16 exit to eventual champion Spain.
