Tudor unfazed by Lazio loss
Igor Tudor will not seek assurances from the Juventus hierarchy about his job security, though he admits his team is in a "very bad moment" after losing 1-0 to Lazio.
Toma Basic's deflected strike put Lazio ahead in the ninth minute at the Stadio Olimpico, and Juve could not make its dominance of possession count as it fell to a 1-0 defeat.
The Bianconeri are winless in eight games across all competitions, while a run of five Serie A matches without a victory leaves them a lowly eighth in the table.
Juventus gone four consecutive matches without scoring in all competitions for the first time since February and March 1991, when Luigi Maifredi was in charge.
Its poor form has led to suggestions Tudor's reign in Turin could be a short one, and he knows his side needs to show more.
"We're in a very bad moment, we prepared for this as an important game... with a victory we could have started again," he said.
"We couldn't score a goal, we tried in every way and conceded the goal from our first mistake. We have to stay united and compact and find something more.
Asked if he would like Juve to publicly state its support for him, Tudor said: "It's a useless question right now, it doesn't matter."
Juventus is back in action against Udinese midweek, before games against Cremonese, Torino, Fiorentina and Cagliari in it next four league games, but Tudor insisted an 'easier' schedule on paper may not help his team.
"For us, they are all difficult games, I have talked a lot about this," he said. "Even when we played once a week and faced teams of a lower level, we won by a goal. This team has never won three- or four-nil. But it's good to play again immediately."
Lazio, meanwhile, is just a point behind Juve in the table after coming through a tough period defined by injuries, leaving coach Maurizio Sarri delighted.
"We have taken eight points from four games, while facing Atalanta and Juventus, since we have been in an emergency," Sarri said.
"We responded with character and moments of good football. I am happy for the boys and for our fans, that we are finally starting to give them some satisfaction after a difficult period that began months ago. We were becoming cursed!"
