Juventus parts company with Igor Tudor
- Igor Tudor has been relieved of his duties by Juventus amid a dismal run of form for the Serie A giant.
Tudor's dismissal comes after a poor run of results for the Bianconeri, who are winless in their last eight games in all competitions, having lost 1-0 to Lazio.
Juve has collected just 12 points from its first eight matches of this Serie A campaign; the last time it earned fewer at this stage of a top-flight season was in 2015-2016 (nine points on that occasion).
With Tudor’s exit, Juventus has replaced its coach before the end of October for the first time since 1969-1970. That season, the Bianconeri went on to finish third in Serie A.
Juve appointed Tudor in March, with the Croatian replacing Thiago Motta.
Tudor's coaching staff have also been dismissed.
The Bianconeri have appointed Massimo Brambilla as interim manager. He will take charge for Thursday's midweek Serie A game against Udinese.
Juve is eighth in the league, and 25th in the 36-team Champions League standings.
