Paulo Dybala signs new Roma deal
Roma has struck an agreement with Paulo Dybala for its star attacker to stay at the Stadio Olimpico for another year.
Dybala had been a free agent since the end of last season.
However, the 32 year-old was widely expected to stay at Roma, which he joined from Juventus in 2022.
Roma confirmed Dybala has put pen to paper on a new deal to keep him at the Serie A club through the 2026-2027 season.
Dybala has played 140 times in all competitions for Roma.
"The story continues, it's what we all want, to have another season here, another year in this city and this country," Dybala said. "It's a privilege to be able to keep wearing the Roma shirt.
"Roma means a lot of things. Responsibility, honour, beauty. There are also personal reasons why I want to stay here and defend these colours. It's a huge honour."
Dybala has reportedly agreed to a pay cut with his new deal.
