Vinicius signs six-year deal with Real Madrid
Vinicius Junior has extended his Real Madrid contract until June 2032.
The Brazil international drew major interest from Arsenal as he entered the final year of his previous deal, but has signed a new six-year contract to extend his stay in the Spanish capital.
Vinicius joined Los Blancos eight years ago and has made 375 appearances for the club, scoring 128 goals and providing 85 assists while winning 14 major trophies.
The winger has won three LaLiga titles, two Champions Leagues and one Copa del Rey, among other trophies, and will now look to add to his collection under Jose Mourinho.
Vinicius wrote on his Instagram story: "Eight years at the Bernabeu is too short… six more years and forever to go!"
Madrid failed to win any silverware last season, and though Vinicius fell out of favour under Xabi Alonso, who was replaced in January by Alvaro Arbeloa, he still enjoyed a strong campaign.
Vinicius scored 23 goals and recorded 11 assists in 59 matches.
