Livakovic makes Barcelona switch from Fenerbahce
Barcelona bolstered its goalkeeping options with the signing of Dominik Livakovic on a four-year contract.
Livakovic joins the LaLiga champion from Fenerbahce for an undisclosed fee, putting pen to paper on a deal through to June 2030.
The Croatian made 74 appearances for Fenerbahce in all competitions, though spent the 2025-2026 season on loan with Girona – where he did not make an appearance – and Dinamo Zagreb, whom he had played for before moving to Turkiye.
Overall, Livakovic made 310 appearances for Zagreb across his two spells, helping it win seven league titles, including last season.
The 31 year-old kept 22 clean sheets in 57 Turkish Super Lig appearances.
Livakovic also has a wealth of experience on the international stage, winning World Cup silver and bronze medals in 2018 and 2022, respectively.
He also made four appearances at this year's World Cup as Croatia was knocked out by Portugal in a dramatic round-of-32 clash.
Barcelona let Marc-Andre ter Stegen leave on loan for Ajax this transfer window, but Livakovic is still expected to play a reserve role.
He is Barca's sixth signing of the window after the arrivals of Anthony Gordon, Karim Adeyemi, Jesse Bisiwu, Rodri and Joao Cancelo.
