Norwich dents Millwall's automatic promotion hopes
Oscar Schwartau completed the turnaround for Norwich City, which dealt Millwall a blow to its hopes of automatic promotion from the Championship with a 2-1 win at The Den.
Mihailo Ivanovic had opened the scoring for Millwall, but after Pelle Mattsson and Schwartau scored to push Norwich up to ninth, it leaves the Lions looking over their shoulders, with Middlesbrough just one point behind them.
Norwich set the early rhythm, with Mathias Kvistgaarden sending a tame shot straight at Anthony Patterson before Jack Stacey fizzed a low shot across the face of goal.
Millwall improved after the break, with half-time substitute Ivanovic punishing Norwich's first-half wastefulness by heading in Casper De Norre's cross from close range.
However, the Canaries pulled back level just six minutes later, with Mattsson lashing a powerful shot into the roof of the net after being picked out by Mohamed Toure.
Norwich then turned things around in the 76th minute after a lovely counter-attack, with Toure again the provider after playing a one-two with Schwartau, who curled his low finish past Patterson.
At the other end of the table, 10-man Portsmouth came from behind to draw 2-2 with fellow relegation battler Oxford United, with Andre Dozzell clawing back a point in the 87th minute.
