Beats by Dr. Dre has become an official partner of Bayern Munich, the club announced, with the company exclusively providing Die Roten with headphones and speakers to help players prepare for matches.

The likes of LeBron James, Serena Williams and Bayern playmaker Mario Gotze are among the world-class athletes already using equipment from Beats Electronics LLC.

"With Beats, we have found an internationally recognised partner who understands the symbiotic relationship between music and sports like no other," Bayern marketing board executive Andreas Jung said in a news release. "Every day, our players demonstrate outstanding performance. Their mental preparation with music is just as important as their other professional training equipment.

"We are excited that headphones and speakers by Beats are now an integral part of the FC Bayern Munich team equipment.“
