Portugal leapfrogs Spain in FIFA World Rankings
European champion Portugal is up to sixth in the FIFA Ranking, France climb 10 places, but the top five remain unchanged.
A shock win at UEFA EURO 2016 has taken Fernando Santos's side up two places, while the previous European champion is now down to eighth.
Argentina remains top despite losing the final of the Copa America Centenario in June. The four teams behind them - Belgium, Colombia, Germany and Chile - remain unchanged.
France, who was beaten by Portugal in the UEFA EURO 2016 final last Monday (AEST), has jumped 10 places into seventh, while Italy is back in the top 10 after its run to the quarter-finals.
Surprise semi-finalist Wales is up 15 places to 11th, two ahead of England. Iceland, who knocked the Three Lions out of EURO 2016, is up 12 places to 22nd - its best ever position - while Croatia and Poland enjoyed big climbs to 15th and 16th place respectively.
Australia reamins in 59th place, while New Zealand is the biggest movers, with its triumph at the OFC Nations Cup lifting it 54 places to 93rd. Austria, which failed to win a match in France, is down 11 places to 21st.
Venezuela, which reached the Copa America quarter-finals, is into the top 50, climbing 31 places to reach 46th.
