Klopp bristles while clarifying Salah situation
Jurgen Klopp was visibly frustrated when asked about the situation with Liverpool forward Mo Salah, who is heading back to the club from the Africa Cup of Nations for treatment after being injured while playing for Egypt.
Klopp made it clear when asked by beIN SPORTS that both Liverpool and Egypt were in agreement on what is best for Salah as he seeks to be fit for his country should it make the latter stages of AFCON 2023 in Cote d'Ivoire and also for Liverpool's push to win trophies on four fronts – the Premier League, the UEFA Europa League, the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
