André Ayew prend la direction du Golfe persique. Libre depuis la fin de son contrat avec Swansea, l'international ghanéen de 31 ans s'apprête à rejoindre Al-Sadd. Le club qatari, entraîné par Xavi, a annoncé ce jeudi avoir conclu un accord avec l'ancien milieu de terrain de l'OM.

« Le joueur arrivera à Doha dans la matinée pour terminer les procédures de routine, suivies de la signature du contrat et de l'annonce officielle », a précisé la formation qatarie. Dans l'émirat, le fils d'Abedi Pelé évoluera dans le quatrième championnat d'une carrière déjà passée par la France (Marseille, Lorient, Arles-Avignon), l'Angleterre (Swansea, West Ham) et la Turquie (Fenerbahçe).
